Comparative insight from evolutionary models and research on other species, as well as recent genetic studies of evolutionary history and trait variation in humans. Topics include: mechanisms of evolution, the long-term consequences of early life adversity, social environmental effects on health, the genetics of socially relevant traits. Open only to students in the FOCUS program.
