Class of 2025
Major in Evolutionary Anthropology; Minors in Visual Media Studies and Chemistry

I am dedicated to my research at the Silver Lab, understanding neurogenesis and development. I am also involved in American Medical Women Association (AMWA) as the Mentorship Chair, and FEMMES+ as the Associate Program Director. I volunteer at Lenox Bake Children's Hospital and for Remote Area Medical, and shadow at the Pediatrics Emergency Department. I am interested in continuing my passions at medical school and beyond, with a goal towards becoming a physician. I teach horseback riding lessons and enjoy riding in the hunter/jumper style myself. I love painting and am an artist for Earthy Creations, a sustainable art club.

Favorite Class: Evolutionary Medicine was my favorite class at Duke because I was able to understand diseases and treatments from an evolutionary perspective. I was able to think about solutions and the root cause of many illnesses in a way I never did before.
