Class of 2026
Majors in Biology (Anatomy, Physiology, and Biomechanics concentration) and Evolutionary Anthropology (Human Biology concentration)
Hi! On campus, I am a manager for Duke WBB, the Parliamentarian of the Lambda Omega Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., on the club flag football team, and a researcher in the Animal Locomotion Lab. I believe that sports have the power to change the world, and that it is imperative that we keep people as active as possible for as long as possible. The role I plan to play in making this happen is by pursuing a career in human movement research. When I am not doing those things on campus, I love going on walks, playing/watching sports, reading, writing, and listening to music. I was a 2023 Biological Summer Undergraduate Research Fellow and this past summer, I completed an Orthopedic Research Internship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center underneath Dr. Dennis Anderson.
Favorite Class: My favorite class at Duke has been Anatomy of the Lower Extremities. It was a unique and enriching way to learn anatomy through cadaveric dissection. Hands-on experience like this is an incredible opportunity to take advantage of if you ever get the chance.
